Job Summary

The Information Security Analyst will be a vital member of our SOC team, responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents. You'll work with cutting-edge security tools and technologies to identify and investigate potential threats, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Genpact's data and systems. This role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
• Investigate security incidents to determine their root cause and potential impact
• Analyze security data to identify trends and patterns
• Respond to security incidents according to established procedures
• Escalate high-priority threats to senior security analysts
• Assist with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities
• Maintain a strong understanding of current cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities
• Stay up-to-date on the latest security tools and technologies
• Document security incidents and findings thoroughly
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Genpact's security posture

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or demonstrably relevant experience)
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, principles, and best practices (e.g., network security, endpoint security, incident response)
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems
• Familiarity with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines

Experience

This role is well-suited for individuals with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in information security or a related field. A passion for cybersecurity, a strong understanding of security threats, and the ability to think critically are essential. Recent graduates with a strong academic background in cybersecurity are also encouraged to apply.
