Summary

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Accounting Analyst to join our dynamic team. You will assist with various accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and supporting the preparation of financial reports. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software, and a meticulous eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

Process financial transactions (accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations)
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential risks
Prepare financial reports and assist with the month-end closing process
Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts
Support the creation and implementation of internal controls
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
Collaborate with other departments (finance, operations) to ensure smooth accounting processes
Communicate accounting information clearly and concisely to stakeholders
Stay up-to-date on accounting regulations and standards

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or a related role (required)
Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS)
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP)
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
Basic understanding of financial reporting and analysis concepts
