About the Role

As an AI Engineer at Infosys, you'll be responsible for the entire AI lifecycle, from data exploration and model design to implementation and deployment. Here's a glimpse into what you'll be doing:

• Problem Definition and Data Exploration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and identify opportunities where AI can be applied. Explore and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and prepare data for model training.
• Model Design and Development: Design, develop, and train machine learning models using various algorithms and techniques (e.g., deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision). Experiment with different architectures and hyperparameters to optimize model performance.
• Evaluation and Deployment: Evaluate the performance of trained models, identify biases and ethical considerations. Work with software engineers to integrate AI models into real-world applications and ensure seamless deployment.
• Monitoring and Iteration: Continuously monitor the performance of deployed models in production. Identify opportunities for improvement and iterate on models to maintain accuracy and address evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning algorithms and models.
• Prepare and pre-process data for model training.
• Evaluate, validate, and test model performance.
• Debug and troubleshoot AI models and applications.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in AI research and development.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., data scientists, software engineers, business analysts).
• Document work effectively and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
• Experience with programming languages like Python, R, or Java.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with data analysis and manipulation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
